We’ve been shooting new episodes of Condé Nast / Epicurious Well Equipped series every two months, one each on two consecutive days. In the six newest episodes not mentioned previously, I test gadgets for sandwiches, cutting, brunch, nut cracking, “As Seen On TV,” and vintage. This vintage Ice Pet ice shaver worked pretty well. It requires however a specially molded disk of ice. It was an Ebay purchase and the part that molded the ice didn’t come along with it. It was therefore a bit of a struggle to keep the improvised ice disk in place.
